1997 BMW 328i P1403 code

Does anybody know how to fix a P1403 code for my 97 BMW 328I? I also need to know how to reset theinspection light under the mileage that comes on, I changed the oil and somebody said I need to have some tool to reset the it? Really need somne help, still learning how to work on it

P1403 would be your charcoal canister shutoff valve. The part number is 16131184235.

once that is replaced then I can reset the check engine light and it won't come back on?
