I am selling my 2001 BMW due to my decision to return to school in the near future. This car is in very good condition body-wise but needs a new reverse pad. In order to install a reverse pad, the auto repair shop I took it to said that they would also have to rebuild the transmission (which is where the bulk of the repair cost comes in). This is the perfect car for someone that has the time to either get a used transmission installed or knows how to fix it themselves. I can provide the documentation for anyone who might be interested in seeing the cost the repair shop quoted me. I do not have the time or expertise to fix it myself--otherwise, I would keep the car for myself.

The car only has 98K miles on it and was properly maintained throughout its life thus far. Oil changes were provided every 3-5k miles within recommended standards. Tires still have decent life left on them. Please express interest if you would like to see the carfax report and any other documentation on the car. This car has not been in any accidents and functions fine with the exception of the reverse gear.

Asking $5,000 OBO.

You forgot to post pictures of the car you are trying to sell.

I actually did not forget...but tried numerous times to post pictures using the attachements feature ...when I click on 'Add Attachment', my file name is erased and nothing happens. If you are interested in seeing the car, perhaps I can forward to your email instead.

You have to choose the file you want to attach first and then click somewhere in the box and then click "Add Attachment"

Had to post pix from a different computer as my settings don't agree but please let me know if you have any other questions regarding my car.
