I recently bought and installed the DICE mediabridge duo IPOD integration kit for my E38 and must say it is gods gift to one of BMWs major design flaws (besides cupholders) and is a must if you want clean crisp sound from your ipod instead of shotty performance from an FM transmitter or tape deck adapter. you can control it all from either the ipod or stereo controls on the console or steering wheel. just make sure you update your IPOD software before using.
