I'm Craig, I go to Arizona State for mechanical engineering, and I have a swirl-marked "Schwarz II" E39 540i ('97) with ugly wheels. If you think my ugly wheels aren't ugly and want my ugly wheels to put on your car so you can have ugly wheels, let me know!

Welcome Craig! Nice 540i you have there. I was just working on a black 2000 540i 6 speed the other night.

How do you like the forum? Is everything working as it should?

I'd like to suggest an "Other Cars" and/or "Off-Topic" area to discuss other topics of interest and different brands of cars. Personally, I like motorsports talk (F1 especially), discussions of track events, etc.

Plus it's nice to have a dedicated section to talk about other vehicles or just random life events (or post hilarious things such as this):

That 540i in question was mine. Snapped power steering metal mounting from a mechanic who didn't tighten it down.

I had power steering problems on the E46 but not yet on the E39.
