I am also looking for info to repair odds and ends interior problems. I need to glue ceiling cloth on and fix moonroof. Motor runs with no movement. I have a blue toggle switch to the right of the steering wheel, I have no idea what it does yet.
I found a website for my 2000 528i that has just about every fix and info listed on it. I have not found one for the Z yet. I HAVE to replace the thermostat before I drive it very far in the cold. Then start the rest.
I think I have a million questions right now. Any help is appreciated.

Our moonroofs are tilt function only.. Check to make sure that the cables are attached and well lubed. The switch should be on the headliner.
